Chocolate No bakes

I have to say these are also some of Greg's favorites. Make sure he shares!!!!

Chocolate Oatmeal No-Bake Cookies

In saucepan, bring to a boil,
2 c. sugar
1/2 c milk
1/4 c. cocoa
1 stick of butter

Once at a boil, remove from heat. Add:
2 t. vanilla
3 c. oatmeal (quick)

Drop onto wax-paper lined cookie sheets. Chill.

Memories of this recipe....often made later at night when someone was hungry. They are quick so if you always have these ingredients on hand, you will always have a dessert ready in abt 10-15 minutes. Yum!!

Oatmeal Cookies

Eggless Oatmeal Cookies

Since you have a Kitchen Aid, I would just add all of these ingredients and mix.

3/4 c. butter or margarine
1c. brown sugar
1/2 c sugar
1/4 c. water
1 t. vanilla

1 c. flour
1 t. salt
1/2 t. baking soda
3 c. oatmeal (quick works best for cookies)
1 c. extras (raisins, coconut, chocolate chips)

Put by teaspoons onto greased cookies sheet. Bake at 350 for 7 to 8 minutes.

Never desert dessert!

When I found this chocolate cake recipe, Greg was able to have his first birthday cake. Until then, we celebrated with rice krispie treats. Greg loves this cake and while the real name is Crazy Chocolate Cake, we just call it Greg's cake. (This is the recipe for your wedding cake...at least the one I gave you).

Greg's Chocolate Cake

Sift together in 9x13 cake pan,
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
6 T. cocoa
1 t. salt
2 t. baking soda

When completely mixed,  make 3 wells in the mixture. To one add 2 t. vanilla, to another, add 2 T. vinegar, and to the last, add 3/4 c. oil.  Pour 2 c. water over the cake and stir until well mixed.

Cook at 350 for 35 minutes.
